Martha One of the hardest yet most freeing decisions you’ll ever make in your spiritual journey is this:
Choosing obedience to God over loyalty to satanic family traditions.
It’s not easy. It will cost you comfort, connection, and maybe even community, but it will also lead you to freedom, clarity, and divine alignment.
There comes a point in your walk with God where He calls you out – out of toxic systems, out of cultural strongholds, and yes, out of satanic family norms disguised as tradition.
It’s not rebellion. It’s revelation. It’s not dishonour. It’s divine obedience.
Because the truth is; not everything passed down in your bloodline came from God.
Some Family Norms Are Not Godly—They’re Demonic in Nature
We don’t talk about this enough in the church, but let’s get real.
Some of what we call “family values” are actually:
- Generational curses
- Witchcraft in disguise
- Manipulation masked as tradition
- Soul ties and blood covenants made by ancestors without your consent
- Cycles of silence that protect demonic strongholds
If it exalts control, secrecy, pride, idolatry, or fear over God’s Word—it’s not holy. It’s satanic.
Jesus Said It First: Loyalty to God > Loyalty to Blood
Jesus didn’t come to uphold family idols. He came to break strongholds.
In Matthew 10:34-37, He made it clear:
“I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.”
“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me.”
That’s not permission to be hateful. It’s a wake-up call for those entangled in bloodline bondage.
Some family systems are built on control, intimidation, silence, and secrecy and those are the very tools the enemy uses to keep you from your calling.
If God Called You Out, Don’t Look Back
You can’t heal what you keep excusing.
You can’t be set apart if you keep blending in.
You can’t be delivered if you’re still defending the very demons that oppressed you.
Obedience may cost you access to your family but it gives you full access to your Kingdom assignment.
Let them call you dramatic.
Let them say you’re “too deep.”
Let them lie on your name.
You are breaking chains they’ve made peace with.
God Will Separate You Before He Elevates You
If God is pulling you away from certain relatives, environments, or conversations, trust Him.
He’s not isolating you—He’s sanctifying you.
He’s not punishing you—He’s protecting you from soul ties and spiritual sabotage.
What feels like rejection is often redirection into the wholeness, purpose, and clarity you’ve been praying for.
You Were Born to Break the Cycle
You weren’t sent to repeat what’s familiar – you were sent to overthrow what’s demonic.
You were chosen to:
- End the silent suffering
- Break the curse of narcissistic control
- Refuse the manipulation passed down through generations
- Expose the witchcraft masked as culture
- Rebuild your bloodline through Christ
You’re not the “black sheep” – you’re the curse breaker. The deliverer. The prophetic one.
Obedience Is Spiritual Warfare
Obedience to God isn’t just a personal choice, it’s a weapon of war. Every time you say “no” to ungodly family expectations, you’re waging war in the spirit.
The enemy doesn’t mind you being religious.
He minds you being obedient.
Because obedience destroys agreements.
Obedience breaks contracts your ancestors made with darkness.
Obedience exposes the enemy hiding in family traditions.
So don’t shrink.
God chose you because He knew you’d feel what others ignore.
He knew you’d say what others fear.
He knew you’d walk away when others chose comfort.
You’re not walking alone, you’re walking in divine alignment.
Obedience over satanic tradition. Always.
